Membership Fees

The Fee Schedule for New and Current members is effective from 1 July 2005

Notes:

1. GST amounts only apply to members living inside Australia .
2. Total Fee consists of an annual Membership Fee and a once off Application Administration and Processing Fee ($100 +GST). Both components of the total fee are non-refundable, however if for some reason the application does not proceed or ACS membership is not granted, the membership fee only may be refunded. Membership applications will not be addressed until the Total Fee payment has been processed or a periodic payment authority has been lodged with the ACS.
3. The Student Offer is only applicable to those who are currently studying an ACS accredited or equivalent qualification at an Australian Institution and who reside within Australia . The Application Administration and Processing Fee has been waived.  
4. The Recent Graduate Offer is only applicable to those who apply within 12 months of completion of their studies, were studying an ACS accredited or equivalent qualification at an Australian Institution and who will continue to reside within Australia. The Application Administration and Processing Fee has been waived.  
5. Companion applications include 50% discount on Application Administration and Processing Fee.  
6. Australian Citizen and Permanent Resident Applicants with no formal qualifications will be required to complete Demonstrated Equivalence with their membership application.

Reciprocal Service Benefits

A reciprocal service benefits scheme exists between this Society and the overseas societies listed below. If you are a current financial full fee paying member (not including Student members and Graduates receiving a discount) of one of these societies, you are eligible for a 20% discount on the annual full membership fee (the discount does not apply to the application fees). The discount only applies to the second societies joined; ie. you pay full fee to the first society you join, which then entitles you to a discount when you join a subsequent society and must be done when first joining the ACS . Evidence of your current financial status with your first society is required each year when renewing your subscription to claim this discount.
