Who is Steve Godbee?

Steve Godbee is the current Chief Information Officer of IBM Australia New Zealand. He is a Senior Member of the Australian Computer Society and Certified Professional.

Like most of us Steve was once a student, he finished high school and made a decision to begin a career in IT. Completing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Technology Sydney Steve completed an industrial year (similar to an internship or work experience) as a trainee programmer at Citicorp. After graduating he got a job for Westpac as an associate programmer/analyst. From there Steve has progressed and succeeded to his current senior role with IBM.

As an IT student Steve made a smart decision. He decided to join the Australian Computer Society, the association for IT professionals. This provided him with several pathways to continue his professional development as well as offering great professional recognition and networking opportunities.
